Founded back in 2022, Flex Design Studio, led by Aleks Furman, is all about making clients happy. We go above and beyond what's expected, using flexible and efficient methods and technology. We’re really good at handling tight deadlines and the often-messy construction world, always aiming to deliver awesome outcomes even when things get hectic. Basically, we’re giving clients the kind of service they should get but usually don’t because other companies just don’t put in the effort or understand their needs.

WHO IS ALEKS?
With two decades immersed in Chicago's Architecture and Design scene, Aleksandra's worked alongside giants like Google, Brunswick, Prudential, Avexis, and Med Men. She's got a real knack for tuning into what clients need and turning those ideas into designs that boost their brand and actually help their business thrive. Think sharp aesthetics, crazy good detail work, serious spec knowledge, and a solid grip on branding - that's her skillset in a nutshell!
On top of that , Aleks's ability to truly listen to her clients sets her apart as a designer. She doesn't just hear their words; she actively engages with their ideas, asks insightful questions, and delves deep into understanding their vision. In turn, she gains a deep understanding of her clients’ brand identity, target audience, and business objectives. She creates visually appealing designs that are strategically aligned to support and elevate her clients' overall business goals.
CHICAGO TO NEW ORLEANS
When Aleks crossed paths with Chris Berends, Melinda Cohen and James Dufrene (Owners of Raven PMG) they instantly saw eye to eye on the dedication to great design, clever problem solving and going to great lengths for their clients.
In turn, Raven PMG offered to take Flex Design studios under its “wing” and move the company down to New Orleans, LA to help us grow. Now, Flex Design Studio had a talented design team and a stunning office space in the Bywater neighborhood, not to mention our close connection with an impressive fabrication company with a similar grass-roots ethos. Aleks and Melinda have a similar passion for design and devote time to collaborating on furniture, lighting and architectural design. Flex Design Studio’s partnership with Raven PMG means that the sky is the limit!
While we are physically headquartered in New Orleans, we work on projects nationwide without a problem, so don't hesitate to reach out.
